Speaking of different body shapes. These are all basically peak human bodies.

How come 99% of them don’t conform to what the entertainment industry tells us is the perfect body?

He’s supposed to be playing the villain of the piece, IIRC. As per here:

Fans of the X-Men comics were quick to guess MODOK, a man who is turned into a super intelligent killing machine, and Puck, a short mercenary with a big axe to grind. However, Eric poked holes in both those possibilities while reporting Dinklage would be the film’s main antagonist.

Singer later confirmed Dinklage would not be playing Puck, nor would he be a CGI character, which might mean MODOK’s out. Then, seemingly amused by the anticipatory anxiety he is causing, Singer offered that a hint, saying Dinklage will be playing “not a shy character.”

who cooks normally?: Jean-Paul, both for the obvious reasons and because a speedster’s metabolism means he actually has to pay close attention to his nutritional and caloric intake.

how often do they fight?: Not as often as one might think given their personalities, as Jono’s apathy can make it tough to get a real row going. When they do, though, the walls rattle.

what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Pretend not to care. Teammates get the “Jonothon/JP is a big boy; he’ll be fine”, but there are surreptitious texts the moment no one’s looking.

nicknames for each other?: JP tends to verbally distance himself the more concerned he gets, so it’s “Jono” casually, “Jonothon” when he’s concerned, and “Starsmore” when he’s half out of his mind with worry. With Jono, it’s either “JP” or “mate”.

who is more likely to pay for dinner?: Jean-Paul.

who steals the covers at night?: Jono; he’s also more likely to cuddle, as Jean-Paul runs hot and his psionic engergy doesn’t do much to keep him warm.

what would they get each other for gifts?: Jono writes music, Jean-Paul keeps him buried in the best high-quality supplies and takes him to concerts to feed the muse.

who remembers things?: Jean-Paul definitely lives more in the present.

who cusses more?: It’s a tie! There’s also some unlikely bleedthough, as evidenced by the first time Jono called Warren a “bleedin’ connard” and Jean-Paul christened Wolverine a “wanker”. Since Jean-Paul’s Quebecois and not French French, they’ve decided it’s still safe for Jono to go home without being lynched.

what would they do if the other one was hurt?: Make sure the other was resting comfortably, find what hurt him, and then reduce it to it’s component parts.

who kissed who first?: Jean-Paul, for the obvious reasons.

who made the first move?: Jean-Paul, as Jono’s insecurities about his appearance wouldn’t have let him.

who started the relationship?: Jono. Once he finally realized Jean-Paul wasn’t feeding him a line, he dug in with all ten fingers and hung on tight.
