…OK, that is damn pretty. For the first time ever, I’m seriously tempted to actually buy a variant cover. The DM version of the hardcover collection is also supposed to have this on the front though, so maybe I’ll just get two copies of that (might even be cheaper than the variant!).

So, after some debate, I decided to splurge on this years b-day gift to myself.
Why this page?
- I have enough faith in Liu’s writing at this point that I don’t think #51 is going to suck, so I don’t feel that I’m going to regret this purchase in terms of it being a reminder of severe disappointment.
- First appearance of Northstar and Kyle together in the Liu/Perkins AXM run.
- Northstar in bed. (And in my headcanon, he totally didn’t have the shorts on until he got up. ;) )
- I do love the atmosphere Perkins is putting into this book. All those dramatic shadows and heavy inks…

When I found out about th wedding while watching The View (don't judge me I like Whoopi and was home early today) I thought of you! But then squealed because Graymalkin and Cipher were on the cover! No-Girl was on it which confused me cause shes on Team Cyclops but I assume Dr Nemesis brought her

No background story to this one. I just felt the need for something pretty, and this artist excels at pretty.
…you know I love you and the fact that your vaingloriousness is a first line of defense, JP, but let’s not get too carried away with this branding thing.
I really am glad that the majority of the questions being pitched in these interviews aren’t just “whee! Superheroes!” fluff.
